Ask a bunch of different people who their favorite James Bond is, and you'll get a bunch of different answers. Connery! Moore! Dalton! Brosnan! Lazenby! Okay, maybe not Lazenby so much. But you get the idea. Now ask those same people who their favorite Superman is, and you'll probably get only one answer: Christopher Reeve.

Christopher Reeve was and still is the only Superman as far as I'm concerned. No offense to George Reeves' fans - he was a fine actor - but there's really no comparison, is there? From the moment I first saw Christopher Reeve take flight in a darkened theater in 1978, I truly believed that a man could fly. Maybe part of me still does.
