Statement

Red Dot Gallery is a collaborative effort of local business people and artists who have created an exhibit space to showcase the wealth of talented, local fine artists and craftspeople in celebration of the re-emergence of Dorchester, Lower Mills. The Red Dot Gallery is a place where art and community thrives.

The gallery is intended to expand and enhance a growing sense of community by becoming a focal point for fine artists and art collectors, fine craftspeople and lovers of fine crafts. Red Dot’s location, opposite the Historic Baker Chocolate Factory, home to city-sponsored live-in artists’ working lofts, and just across the Neponset River Estuary from Historic Milton Hill, not to mention being in the heart of bustling Lower Mills’ antique row, make it predisposed to be just such a place.
