Statement

I have been painting since the age of five. Grew up in the rural area of South Carolina and has a tendency to paint scenes of the 50s and 60s. Memories of those years has a special place in my heart as well as dreams, events and mere conversations ignites my creativity.

Because of my love for art and the fascinations and joy which derived from its creativity, I started my painting with special need children and with senior citizens and saw the joy of painting. The overwhelming gratifications led me to "canvas on wheels" which finally added a "twist of literacy"
