Statement

My art is an active response to my environment, based on the patterns, structures and forms I observe. I use my art as a visualization and learning tool, and consider my works manifestations of the spiritual and formless, brought out through subconscious ideas.

Creativity describes something that transcends pure intellect, pure dogma and pure rationality. Creativity manifests as the other, the unexpected, and can serve us by filling spaces in our understanding where intellect has no contribution to make. Through my work, I learn truths which could not be attained through logic and intellect alone, and see commonalities between belief systems, such as science and spirituality.
