Artist Statement

Throughout my life, I’ve always loved to paint but I went against my intuition and followed a more profitable path in the High Tech industry that lead me to exhaustion, stress, and no sense of real artistic accomplishments.

All that changed in May 2003…..

I gave my resignation and concentrated on becoming a full-time Artist. I decided I must try to fulfill my “artistic destiny.” I love to create abstract collages using different textures, lines, and forms in accompaniment with vibrant arrays of color palettes to create emotional responses, especially to the naturally organic world. I create my collages in watercolors, acrylics, gouache, printmaking, and Calligraphy. Never before have I been more satisfied with my career path than in the present.
